The cross country skiing routes in Obertraun on the Dachstein are one of the biggest routes in the whole of the Obertrauner valley...
It is reachable from Hallstatt by car or with the post bus in only 5 minutes.
The Koppenwinkl (6km, by the Koppenwinkl Lake). Crossing meadows and fields the 14km long route through the woods and through wonderful nature reserves. The Höhenweg is also constantly cleared for winter hikers.
