Lakeside beach in Hallstatt

The lakeside beach in the Lahn area of Hallstatt village (just ten minutes by foot from the village centre) is the perfect spot for locals and guests to relax. If you cross the bridge from the shore you will reach the artificial island with a great playground for the children. Close by is a mini-golf ground and a small hut that sells snacks and ice-cream.

Hallstatt's leisure centre has a wonderful view of Hallstatt, it is 2 km away from the village centre in the direction of Obertraun, and the beach is available for all at no cost.

The lakeside beach in Obertraun is one of the nicest and best-kept beaches at lake Hallstatt. It has a huge lawn beach, a buffet, WCs, changing rooms, a beach volleyball area, a children's playground, grill areas, a water slide and a large car park, and no entrance fees are payable.
