The Master Advent at the "Hand.Werk.Haus" in Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt is a traditional pre-Christmas festival in the Salzkammergut, which combines craftsmanship, regional delicacies, pre-Christmas music and family workshops on the third weekend of Advent, all in the atmospheric setting of Neuwildenstein Castle. The Master Advent in Bad Goisern is a pre-Christmas festival in the Salzkammergut Hand.Werk.Haus, which is characterised by an atmospheric ambience, regional delicacies and handicraft traditions. Among the highlights are the musical accompaniment by the wind players of the Bad Goisern citizens' music band and the opportunity to fold "Fröbel stars" as part of children's workshops, which is a traditional Goisern specialty. At the same time, a popular nativity scene exhibition will take place in the Catholic parish hall.

The festival takes place in the Salzkammergut Hand.Werk.Haus in Bad Goisern. It is an atmospheric event with the ambience of a castle, intended for young and old. There are a variety of offers, including regional delicacies, hand-brewed beer, Goiserer coffee and a programme that is musically framed by the Bad Goisern civic music band. A special feature is the joint folding of "Fröbel stars" in children's and family workshops, a traditional Goisern handicraft. At the same time as the Master Advent, the Bad Goisern Nativity Scene Association is organising a nativity scene exhibition in the Catholic parish hall.
