Long waiting times and running around was yesterday. In Hallstatt and Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt you can now buy your train tickets directly from the tourist office. This leaves more time to enjoy the numerous sights in the UNESCO World Heritage region of Hallstatt Dachstein Salzkammergut. Of course, the friendly staffs are also happy to provide help and advice when purchasing your tickets. Special rail services such as booking via the Business card, the redemption of vouchers are as before only available at the ÖBB ticket counters, e.g. possible in Bad Ischl, Gmunden or Attnang-Puchheim.
